Cabinet prep is different from wall prep
Doors and drawer fronts may need to be removed, labeled, cleaned and prepared before coating. Hardware, hinges and surrounding surfaces need a clear plan too.
Finish expectations
Ask how the coating system is intended to handle routine cleaning and contact. Smoothness, cure time and the condition of the existing finish all matter.
Paint or replace?
Painting can make sense when the cabinet boxes and layout still work for you. Replacement may be more appropriate when the layout, condition or construction is the real problem.
